Recycling #2

While I was high on the success of my first recycling project, I thought that I would tackle another one.

I had a pair of pants that I bought a few years ago after Christmas.  I do not wear these for 2 reasons; 1) It was post Christmas, I was about 10 pounds heavier than I am the other 11 months of the year, and 2) I can wear jeans to work at my current job!

I loved the fabric of these pants, so I didn't want to give these away.

After some brainstorming, I decided I wanted to make a wine bag.

Yes, that is 3 Buck Chuck - only the classiest in our house :)

I used some black felt I had left over for the liner, and some scraps of black and white fabric from a bag I made for Annie as the handle.  And, since I love girlie things, the handle just had to have a bow!

Some up close...

And lastly, me trying to model the new wine bag.

Sorry for the cheesy self portrait - is this my surprised face? Who knows, I was just excited about my wine bag.

Total cost: $0! Best part - I still have a leg and a half left of the pants. What else can I make? :)

Mission Recycling: 2 down, 9 to go!

$0 is good! :-) I think it's fun that you decided to add a bow. Happy weekend...
