Chesterfield Sofa part 2

If you can't tell by now, when I like something, I get obsessed by it :)

So, when I found 2 Chesterfield sofas on Craigslist today I was super excited.  Right after I had given up home!

Here is the deal, one is $350 and one is $1500.  Of course I like the more expensive one MUCH more, but I don't know if it is just in my head {money = quality} or it is real.

So, without telling you which one is the more expensive one, can you tell me which one you like more?

Number 2:

While I realize that you can always negotiate on  CL, there is quite a difference here.  And it is not like I need a new sofa, the ones that we have now are perfectly fine.  But I want one, and not just any one, this one.  And bonus that the hubs is really liking the leather couch idea :)

Please help!!

Chesterfield Sofa

I am still in love with the Chesterfield sofa. And it seems like the more I want one, the more I see them in design, and the more expensive they get!  After searching long and hard online, I have come to realize that they are well above my price range, and not only that, but the one that I love the most happens to be from Restoration Hardware, which equals more than all my home furniture put together.

Knowing that the chesterfield sofa is not in the cards for me, I am clearing out my pictures of this sofa in design.  A sad day, but rather than just throwing them out, I wanted to share them with you! I am sorry - these were just for me, so I did not save any links and cannot give credit...

I hope that you enjoy...

If any readers out there have a chesterfield sofa, please share the pictures, then I can live through you!

New Obsession

I think that I need this couch that I found on Craigslist...

I have always loved Chesterfield sofas, and when Emily from Design Star used one in her pilot show, it solidified my love for them.  When I found this beauty on Craigslist, I about died.  But still - $900 for a used sofa? I don't know if I can do it... (yes, I know that a new one is $3,000, so $900 is a steal - still...)

But I can dream.
