So - Nate and I are big fans of 2 things: Coffee and clear countertops. Well, we quickly realized that our awesome Kurig was not something that can be put away and taken out easily. So it needed to stay on our counter. Luckily, there was a nice little corner for it. But once we got our new countertops (against the old laminate) the coffee maker would screech as it skidding across the counter - which is not the wake up call you want while waiting for your coffee.
So enter the easiest fix ever!! I bought this cute ceramic tray from HomeGoods...
for only $8!!!
Then - hot glued a little white felt to the bottom so that it would slide nicely....
And there you have it!!! Now it slides nice and easily...

We have exactly the same problem so the machine sits out all the time. Might have to head to Home Goods for a tray! Good idea Megs.
