The other week I was driving home and saw this for free on the side of the road:
It was not looking to pretty - in fact, I thought twice about picking it up - but since it was free, I felt like there was no harm in at least trying. So I brought it home.
After taking off the contact paper- it was already looking much better!! Now I just have to figure out what I am going to do with it. I am thinking of staining it - but I need to figure out the shape of the wood. As the contact paper has been on there for a long time based on the color - there is also a layer of sticky goo covering the wood.
Any ideas of color if the stain doesn't work? I will keep you updated on my progress!
