Nursery Dresser

Do you remember this dresser? This is the dresser that I pawned off of Megan and am planning to have in the nursery.

Pay special attention to the hardware,
It will make more sense later in the post.

The weather was finally cooperating a couple of weeks back, so I got to work.
I decided to keep the outer portions as-is, and paint the drawers white.
The bottom drawers, that don't have hardware, and instead have a "built-in" handle, were also kept as-is.

Once the white paint had dried, I applied a water based poly. It was A LOT less stinky than the oil based stuff. Which is what we want, since this is going to be in the baby's room.

Here is the dresser in the nursery!

I LOVE how it turned out.

Now, you might be noticing that something is missing. The hardware. I can't decide what to do. I want to spray paint the hardware, but I don't know what color. Something basic, like silver? Something fun like, orange? Something that will blend, like white? Multiple colors? I am open to suggestions :)

Looks so good... can't wait until there is a little baby butt being changed on it.
I think that you should go with multi color knobs... you can always change them back as he grows :)

We could machine up some hawk logo knobs, burn that in his head early.
