Kitchen Upgrade: Phase 1

Our kitchen is in great shape, but it isn't exactly "us". We have lived with it, exactly as it was how we moved in, for three years now. After some discussion, the hubby and I have decided to tackle the kitchen.....but want to do it in baby steps. Here are some of the things we are considering doing.

1. Painting the Walls
2. Painting the Cabinets
3. Getting new Hardware for the Cabinets
4. Adding a tile backsplash

In order to use our money most effectively and to ensure that we don't doing anything that we will later regret, we are taking on the small things first. This afternoon, we made a quick trip to Home Depot to pick up some new hardware!

It's a small change, but I think the new, clean lined, modern handles are way more our style and really update the whole kitchen. It's kinda cool how small things can make a big difference. Most importantly,  it didn't break the bank!
